Job Description:
We’re looking to add an Environmental Expert specializing in waste management and public policy to Rasi’s family, you will play a vital role in our mission to drive positive transformation in environmental practices.
- Utilizing your deep knowledge of waste management to assess current waste management practices across multiple waste streams.
- Collaborating with government and policymakers to create new enabling frameworks that help achieving the transformation being planned for the sector
- Conducting comprehensive research on waste management trends, technologies, and best practices to inform policy recommendations.
- Developing and delivering impactful waste management strategies for clients that align with environmental goals and regulations.
- Advising clients on waste reduction, recycling, and resource recovery initiatives.
- Supporting the development and implementation of environmental sustainability initiatives across various sectors
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Environmental Expert with a focus on waste management and public policy.
- In-depth knowledge of waste management practices, recycling, resource recovery, and sustainable waste solutions.
- Strong understanding of public policy development and implementation processes.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and advocacy abilities.
- Experience in collaborating with government agencies, NGOs, and industry stakeholders.
- Understanding Saudi Arabia’s different sectors, stakeholders and eco-systems is a bonus.
